JD Smith offers clients
of Ninety Degrees North Design a balance of creative and technical
skills with a strong history of developing corporate identities
and brands. For over seven years, she has led her company
with the philosophy that a good design begins with a clear
understanding of her client's goals.
JD's formal education began
with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from the
Maryland Institute, College of Art. After graduation, she
worked as a graphic designer for two of the most well respected
design companies in the Washington, D.C. area - RCW Communication
Design Company and Rabil & Bates Communication Design
Company. In each position, she worked with key clients developing
corporate identity projects. Before transitioning to lead
her company full-time, JD oversaw all design aspects of
internal and external communications at Global eXchange
Services, a fast-paced e-commerce company.

Manager
Troy Smith maintains rapport
with clients, develops relationships with prospects, and
targets potential advertising opportunities. He has a solid
understanding of graphic design concepts, practices, and
